Yunusa Abass

Yunusa Abass is a Reservoir Engineer with DTE Energy MichCon in Detroit, Michigan where his primary area of expertise is reservoir studies for potential CO2 storage field development and enhanced oil recovery projects. Yunusa also works on various projects including: gas storage field deliverability, maintenance and optimization; well recovery and remedial works; oil and gas well production monitoring and oil and gas field design and withdrawal plans. He started his career working as an environmental engineer and worked as a production engineer and field engineer at an oil servicing company in Nigeria. Yunusa received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and a M.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
