Stephen Kelley

Stephen Kelley (RECS 2010) is pursuing a M.S. in Geology at Western Michigan University while also working as a Geologist at the Ohio Geological Survey. His research focuses on the geological sequestration potential of the Mount Simon Sandstone in the Michigan basin by characterizing the reservoir and estimating storage capacity using geostatistical methods. He is also contributing to the nine-state Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (MRCSP) project and the Arches Regional Mount Simon Sandstone Carbon Sequestration Injection Modeling Project.
