Biography
Shu Luo (RECS 2010) is a Ph.D candidate in Thermal Engineering at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. His research focus is CO2 storage, mainly involving CO2 flow, mass and heat transfer mechanisms during and after CO2 injection. He has started to investigate the trapping mechanism in CO2 storage via experiments and simulation under the support of three projects including: fundamental research on physical and dissolution capture mechanism in the salted porous media during and following the CO2 injection process sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation; fundamental research of key scientific problems on CO2 storage and resource recycling sponsored by Tsinghua University and China-Australia cooperation on CO2 storage sponsored by Chinese and Australian governments. He has also a participated in the COACH Autumn School on CCS in China and submitted two papers to the GHGT10 international conference.
