Pamela Tomski

Pamela Tomski, the Founder and Director of RECS, is an energy technology professional and Managing Partner of EnTech Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that assists clients commercialize a range of energy and environmental technologies. Over the past decade, her major focus has been advanced fossil energy technologies including carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). Pamela works both domestically and internationally on multiple facets of clean energy technologies from establishment of R&D collaborations and demonstration projects to education and capacity building, regulatory frameworks, and policy and market development. For the past 15 years, Pamela has provided strategic consulting support to the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Fossil Energy. She is a Nonresident Senior Fellow for the Atlantic Council of the United States??? Program on Energy and Environment, member of the Southeast Regional Carbon Sequestration Technology Training Program (SECARB-Ed) and served as Director of Education, Outreach and Regulatory Compliance for the Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Partnership. Pamela also advises a number of organizations on CCUS issues including the International Energy Agency's CCS Unit and Working Party on Fossil Fuels, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and previously The Research Council of Norway, Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and Los Alamos National Laboratory. She served as a North American delegate to the IEA / Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) CCS implementation process in support of the G8 and was tasked with identifying early commercial CCUS opportunities with a focus on CO2 enhanced oil recovery and incentives to accelerate deployment. Pamela is an expert peer review member of the IEA Greenhouse Gas Technologies Conference and the IEA Clean Coal Centre. She is an Adjunct Professor at Tuskegee University, serves on the board of the National Energy Education Development Project and is an Advisor to the Inter-University Student Initiative in Carbon Sequestration (ISICS). She received a BA in International Affairs and Middle East History from The George Washington University.
