Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Florida (USF). He received his M.S. in Environmental Engineering and B.S. in Civil Engineering, also from USF. Since 2009, Mark has been researching geochemistry related to CO2 sequestration for a proposed CO2 injection project in Florida. He is currently studying the geochemical interactions of wastewater injected underground for disposal with injected CO2. His research interests include geochemistry, flow in porous media, hydrology, groundwater engineering, and computer simulation.
