Biography
Mark Ackiewicz (RECS 2010) is the Program Manager for the Division of CCS Research at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Fossil Energy, where he is responsible for planning, management, and administration of DOE???s CCS R&D activities. Prior to his current position, Mark was DOE Program Manager for Hydrogen and Clean Coal Fuels and worked as a consultant supporting DOE technical research programs in carbon management and coal conversion where his duties included planning, management, and analysis. He has also held research and engineering positions at various industrial companies in process development and new product scale-up to manufacturing. Mark has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Engineering Management from The George Washington University.
