Biography
Julie Gouin (RECS 2010) is a Graduate Student in Geology with an emphasis on Environmental Geology at Kent State University. Her thesis will be on site characterization for CO2 storage in Northeast Ohio and she has been collecting background information and data on the Clinton Sandstone for her analysis. Julie received her B.S. in Geology from the University of Akron in 2008. She attended field camp through the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Taskesti, Turkey and completed an honors research project on tidalites in Ohio. Prior to graduate school, she worked for Matheson Tri-Gas Inc as a chemist in the Twinsburg, Ohio specialty gas mixing plant.
