Biography
Dr. Grant Bromhal is the Research Group Leader for Sequestration and Hydrocarbons in the Geosciences Division of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Pittsburgh, PA and has worked on several sequestration projects over the decade. Dr. Bromhal has extensive experience modeling two-phase flow in porous media from port level to reservoir scale and is the recipient of the 2007 Hugh Guthrie Award for Innovation at NETL. He received is Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from CMU and B.S. in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from West Virginia University.
