Catherine Ruprecht

Catherine Ruprecht (RECS 2010 and Alumni Mentor) is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Engineering at Clemson University, where she also received a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. Funded under a U.S. EPA Science to Achieve Results (STAR) grant, she works as a Research Assistant using numerical modeling to better characterize the subsurface flow and distribution of injected CO2. Her current research uses simulations of CO2 injection into heterogeneous deep saline formations to compare storage efficiencies of various injection strategies.
